EcoMapper Nano is a compact, highly portable autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) that is truly 1-person deployable, allowing for safe and efficient data collection from the shore or boat. EcoMapper Nano can be fitted with any new or existing EXO-S Multiparameter Sonde for the highest quality, most reliable water quality data, and the ability to monitor with up to 7 sensors (more than 15 parameters) at a time. EcoMapper Nano provides comprehensive insight into your water body with spatial and colocated water quality data.
Whether you control it manually or use simple point-and-click autonomous route planning, EcoMapper Nano is a versatile tool that can collect data throughout the water column. Equipped with a Doppler Velocity Logger (DVL) to compensate for current, improve positioning, and keep altitude from the seafloor, the EcoMapper Nano maintains high positional accuracy during autonomous operation. Paired with its ability to maintain consistent surface communication and long battery life, EcoMapper Nano can run a full day of missions for unprecedented data collection.
The unique profiling capability enables the vehicle to collect detailed water quality data throughout a water column. The vehicle can be programmed to travel to a set location and descend to a specified depth, gathering data as it descends. It will then return to the surface and continue on its mission or return to the operator.
